What is the weather like in Cotopaxi?
Cotopaxi enjoys a cool climate year-round due to its high elevation. At night and during the early morning hours, temperatures may drop to around 5°C, so warm clothing is recommended.
What is the best time to visit?
The best time to visit Cotopaxi is from January to May and from August to December, when rainfall is usually lower and visitors have a better chance of enjoying clear views of the volcano and the surrounding Andean landscapes.
